The Metabolism & Transport Drug Interaction Database was designed for scientists from academia, government and the pharmaceutical industry working in drug discovery and drug development. The design benefits from extensive input from these scientists and provides rapid answers to fundamental and practical questions in the field of pharmacokinetic drug interactions.
Database users can search for information using several families of pre-formulated queries based on drug name, enzyme name, transporter name, therapeutic area, and more.
A "Disease" section providing in depth analyses of drug-drug interactions in the context of specific diseases and their main co-morbidities is also available. Click here to view a flyer for this feature.
The database includes data from peer-reviewed journal articles referenced in PubMed, drug interactions sections of NDAs submissions, and Product Labels for recently approved drugs (1999-2007).
